I am granted an early dismissal today! At 3.15pm.
Cool.

Just that later need to teach tuition.
Yuck.

Sianz. I am so bored.
Oh ya.
Forgot to update about my SMU interview.

Unlike Manda's, mine is Really an interview.
A disgusting waste-of-time interview.
Well, I was half hoping I get into Arts and Soc C instead of Economics.
But it's just so idiotic that I got into the interview for my bloody 2nd choice.

Recall:
1st choice: Business (didnt get in, obviously too hot a subj)
2nd choice: Science (Econs) - I actually bloody got it. I should have known!
3rd choice: Arts and Social Sc

I wanted to put Arts and Soc C as my 2nd choice instead of 3rd one!!!
WHY AM I SO BLUR?

Ok, so I was late for my interview.
Instead of the 2pm group, I joined the 2.30pm one.
Grand opening.
Professor: "So who is Joan?"
Me: "I'm here."
Professor: "Oh, so you the one who did not make it to join the earlier batch."
Me: "Yes I am."
Professor: nod nod... Let's start the ball rolling...

Well, basically, I screwed up my interview, big time.
Cos in the first place, when I was registering and saw my name under Economics, I already Sian Half.
Then during the interview, the human beside me was highlighting all her mathematics competition awards and how both her parents are mathematics teachers, and how her foundation in maths is fan-bloody-tastic. The professor replied with a "Your strong foundation in maths will certainly help u a lot."
I was Sian FUll.
And I was sure.
Come on, I am at the WRONG interview. I know I don't want this course for sure.
So I tried to keep as bloody quiet as possible.

After that, one woman there asked something about our opinion on 'outsourcing', and wanted us to discuss about it. Well, her accent is really so heavy that I found whatever words she said was incomprehensible. What's more, I was right at the end of the row (furthest from her), so I couldn't pick up what she is saying at all. And I can't possibly scrunch up my face or what to show that I was particularly irritated at her heavy accent and incapability to speak in proper, lucid english right?

Anyway, due to my lacking of general knowledge and newspaper reading (I admit it all right?), I also dunno what the hell is outsourcing when apparently all my other counterparts have an idea of it. So they started rattling long sentences of opinons, one by one, endless opinions. And my turn came, I just said, "Erm... I think, collaboration is the key." FULLSTOP.

Professor and the woman looked on for more stuff.
I just gave the sweetest, most innocent smile ever.
Counterparts continued with 'the battling of tongues'.
I sat there and listen, and smile. And smile. And smile.
The end.

So you think I'll get it?
It will be a humongous miracle if I do. And I won't want it anyway.
Maths. For goodness sake. Give me a break. 이제그만~

I just hope the 2 other universities are willing to accept me.

I wanted to post a picture of my colleague doing a world record stunt. But it will show some of the case-sensitive part of my working place, and being bound by the Act of Secrecy, I can't reveal it up here. Sad case. Next time ba.

Oh ya.
That girl is still calling non-stop.
I wonder why is she so thick as to NOT realise that I don't bloody want her at my house?
She even sent an sms to ask if she can come up to my house tomorrow.
And I felt that if I ignore the msg, she'll really turn up at the door.
Sian.
Dense people are odious.

Kaoz. The thunder is shaking my house.
Scary.
