Mina-san, Hisashiburi!

Before I go into the evaluation of the movie special that I've just watched, I need to say, Welcome baCk Manda~ Haha. Ok, I finally realised that the tampines people is actualy Japanese people. Oh my! How cool!

I've decided not to go for the class chalet since I don't intend to stay overnight and coming home from Sentosa is very far.. Regrettably, my decision has led to wilfred not going as well, and peiching too. I wish that there are still many people at the chalet or I will feel damn guilty.

Due to the watching of POT anime, I've become much more engaged in jap that my korean standard went bong bong bong, down and down. Irritants, now I have to do an intensive vocab revision le.

Now now, let me give an evaluation of a movie that I was very much anticipating and I've finally watched it!

The movie, typical of POT, have a rather ridiculous plot. Initially when i watched it with Windows Media Player, there were no subtitles and I freaked out. I was like, TMD, I spent so much time d/ling and it came out a raw? But I continued to watch it, at least can make out some of the words right, and pictures tell a thousand words anyway.

But there were some parts that I die die also don't understand and die die must make it out, so I googled for any info that might make the subtitles come out. And TADA, I realised that there were in fact subtitles and that I have to go and d/l some VLC player and select sub track 2. Wonders or wonders, the subtitles came out! SO happy.

However, my conclusion is that the subtitles suck. Seriously. Some of the jap words even I can replace with better english words (thanks to the experience of watching the previous 163 episodes).

Reasons why the movie sucks:

1. Echizen Ryoma's aniki (foster older brother) has a sucky name of Echizen Ryoga. Of all names, Ryoga, like totally weird.

2. The subtitles' timing are so screwed. They either come up way before the character even begin to speak, or the long sentence has such a short time span and was cut off before the character finish speaking, or they don't come out at all.

3.The subtitles are wrong. They insist on naming Seigaku as Aogaku, at one scene where Momo and Eiji are dropping into the ocean, they put Eiji's name as Fuji!

4. The subtitles dropped the honorifics. So annoying.

5. Tezuka's technique was featured as so powerful that they drew the tennis balls as meteorites and it even shows dinosaurs charging towards the opponent's side of the court (you know, the extinction of the dinos when meteorites dropped down on earth - it's exactly that).

6. The match of Ryoma vs Ryoga is just Ridiculous. As they continue their match, different parts of the cruise liner are already exploding, the whole ship is rocking and going to sink, but they still continue to play. Then Ryoma suddenly have this technique that shows five twisters of fire, let me call it(Fire Twister Smash), haha. To counter that, Ryoga developed an aura of purple electric ball around him (you know, like that of Dragon Ball). Then suddenly, huge wave of sea water started to collapse upon them, you thought they would have stopped, but NO, they continued to exchange strokes in the water! (For goodness sake) Then they suddenly shot of out the water into the sky. Ryoma supported by a hurricane of red waves, Ryoga supported by a hurricane of blue waves. Then Ryoma has to return this ball using all his might that all his clothes got ripped off by some high energy light turning him naked. What the hell right?
In the end, both of them were totally exhausted in the courts of the wretched ship.

7. There are many parts left unexplained - like why ryoga left the Echizen's household in the first place and why he doesn't want to return back after that.

Reasons why the movie rocks:

1. The graphics were damn clear, sharp and cool, much more nicer than that of the normal anime.

2. 5 year old Ryoma is totally CUTE! The voice, the action, Oh my so cute~~~

3. Ok, that's all for now.

Haha, still, I don't regret watching it.
